Soul Squad Guide for Douluo Showdown Mode

Recently, Crickex App mobile users discovered that Douluo Dalu: Soul Land Showdown has officially launched a new gameplay mode called Soul Hunting Squad. Promises are often easier made than kept—this mode had already been teased in the test server, but due to the small player base there, it lacked a proper testing environment. In this event, players must form a five-member team. You can either create a squad as the leader or apply to join one.

If you’re the leader, you won’t be able to see applicants’ power stats—only their usernames and accumulated points. Aside from earning individual points through battles, players can also gain team points based on their squadmates’ performance. This total is visible at the top of the squad interface under “Estimated Team Soul Points.”

Inside the Soul Hunt main screen, you can choose to summon beasts using materials called “Beast Lures,” available in common and rare (immortal-grade) types. These are obtainable through daily quests. While the official notes say they’re available in the gift shop, Crickex App players report they couldn’t locate them. In the test server, one immortal lure cost 300 diamonds—so it remains to be seen whether that price or option will be added to the full store later.

Common lures generally summon lower-year soul beasts, while immortal-grade lures guarantee 800,000-year beasts. As you summon more frequently, your “Exploration Level” rises. The higher the level, the better your odds of summoning high-level beasts with ordinary lures. So over time, your points-per-day efficiency should improve.

Each beast provides a different number of points depending on its age. Most offer around 100 points, but 800,000-year beasts provide up to 1,000 points. If you share a high-tier beast with others, the 1,000 points are distributed based on each player’s damage contribution. Whether to share depends on your personal strategy—sharing means splitting those points.

Crickex App experts note that every beast battle consumes stamina, which can be replenished using diamonds or recovered slightly after defeating beasts. The general rule: use your beast lures daily via quests, and don’t bother sharing common beasts—they’re easily defeated and better used for solo points. For high-tier beasts, sharing is a tactical choice depending on whether you want to conserve energy or chase a leaderboard spot.

You can also monitor the activity feed and quickly join others’ beast battles, giving you a chance to earn extra points. But there’s a catch: fighting shared beasts burns stamina and may yield only a fraction of the points if you deal low damage or arrive late. A peaceful life is true happiness—but this event is anything but. Getting a top ranking will take serious effort.

Through daily battles and team contributions, you can accumulate enough points to redeem event rewards over the six-day run. To hit the maximum 100,000-point milestone, you’d need to average 16,666 points per day—an intimidating number for most casual players.

According to the official reward list, reaching 20,000 points grants Dark San’s exclusive soul bone, while 65,000 points unlocks a friendship item for SP Tang Hao. These are high-value rewards, and Crickex App players speculate that the developers may later offer rare lures through purchases to help boost scores. Ultimately, the mode revolves around teamwork, encouraging interaction—much like clan-style gameplay—and brings a fresh layer of community strategy to the table.
