Crickex App Tips for Monkey Trial Instance
Following Crickex App reports, the new expansion of Fantasy Westward Journey, titled “Path of Destiny,” has arrived on the test server with two fresh instances: “Birth of the Monkey” and “Treasure Hunt in the East Sea.” Among them, “Birth of the Monkey” is a relatively easy five-player instance suitable for players level 50 and above. It offers a fast-paced experience and decent rewards in terms of gold and experience, making it accessible to most players.
This instance contains 13 segments, including three solo missions. During the test phase, it runs in Destiny Mode, which may include special bonus rewards. At the start, the five-member team is scattered across the map in darkness, and players must collect a total of 15 elemental essences to proceed. Each player can collect up to five. Once the target is met, the group progresses to the next phase.
The first battle, Spiritstone Rift, features monsters with moderate damage and no major resistances. Most players should clear it easily. Afterward, players are teleported to the Flower and Fruit Mountain, where they must interact with three small monkeys to learn specific movements. Each successful interaction grants bonus experience and gold.
The second battle pits players against Strong Monkey. While its damage is manageable, players should monitor their health to avoid taking a heavy hit from its club. The third fight features Monkey Senior with a troop of 15 Flower and Fruit Mountain-class monsters. Crickex App suggests players stay alert and heal frequently to avoid sudden defeats.
In the fourth battle, players must defeat five Mischievous Devils. These enemies are low on HP but deal high magic damage. They are spread across the map, and players can engage them individually by clicking their icons. The fifth battle introduces the Mischievous King and three side monsters. The main boss dishes out high magic damage, so players should use healing abilities and resistance skills like Golden Bell to reduce damage.
After the fight, players must speak with the Monkey Elder and General Ba to unlock three trials: swimming, racing, and tree climbing. Each trial requires a team member to volunteer; otherwise, one is randomly selected. Once someone competes, they cannot participate in future trials.
In the swimming trial, high-damage classes perform best. If damage output is too low, drowning spirits will appear. These untargetable enemies inflict heavy bleeding damage and are difficult even for tanky beasts to withstand. The racing challenge also favors high-damage classes, requiring players to win within three rounds. In the tree climbing trial, players gain points by knocking enemies off the tree. Each small monkey carries a different point value. Crickex App experts recommend single-target strikes to take them down efficiently. The team with the most points after three rounds wins.
Winning each trial rewards players with experience and gold. Completing all three grants an additional bonus, making the instance highly rewarding. The sixth battle features General Ba with high-damage enemies. Players are advised to take down the main boss and nearby Longbrow Monkeys swiftly using focused attacks. After this, an NPC conversation triggers a cutscene. Once it ends, a portal appears. Clicking “Sense the Power” activates a mini-game, which leads to the next map upon completion.
In the final area, players interact with a waterfall to begin the seventh battle of the “Birth of the Monkey” instance. The monsters here are mainly magic-based and deal heavy damage. Crickex App mobile users should keep a close eye on their health. This battle also spawns drowning spirits after each turn, so finishing quickly is key to minimizing danger.
Finally, head to the center of the map and speak with the Unbalanced Water Spirit to unlock the climactic battle of the instance.
